Exxon Mobil is an international energy and petrochemical company. Its main businesses include 1) exploring and producing crude oil and natural gas, 2) manufacturing, transporting and selling crude oil, natural gas, petroleum products, petrochemicals, and various special products, and 3) pursuing low-emission business opportunities, including carbon capture and storage, hydrogen, low-emission fuels, and lithium.
The upstream segment explores and produces crude oil and natural gas. The energy products, chemical products and special products segments manufacture and sell petroleum products and petrochemical products.

Energy products include fuel, air fresheners, catalysts and licenses. Chemical products consist of olefins, polyolefins and intermediates. Special products include finished lubricants, synthetic agents, elastomers and resins.
It also focuses on net zero greenhouse gas emissions from non-conventional workplaces operating in the Permian Basin.
