JPMorgan Chase is a financial holding company. It consists of four divisions: consumer and community banking (CCB), corporate and investment banking (CIB), commercial banking (CB), and asset and wealth management (AWM).
The CCB segment provides goods and services to consumers and small businesses through banking branches, ATMs, digital (including mobile and online) and telephone banking.
The CIB segment consists of banking and market and securities services and provides investment banking, market-building, prime brokerage, lending, finance and securities products and services products to the global customer base of companies, investors, financial institutions, merchants, governments and municipalities.
The CB segment provides financial solutions including lending, settlement, investment banking, and wealth management products to three major customer segments: mid-market finance, corporate customer finance, and commercial real estate finance.
The AWM segment provides investment and asset management solutions.
